Entre as mulheres, mais uma vitória do Quênia. Eunice Kirwa venceu os 10 km da prova em 34min30s. Cruz Nonata foi a primeira colocada entre as brasileiras, com 34min44s, seguida por Simone Alves da Silva, com 35min34s.
