Florianópolis troca um carro por oito bikes

E vem de Florianópolis um novo bom exemplo de readequação de espaço público. A capital catarinense está instalando paraciclos no centro da cidade. Com o formato e tamanho de um carro, o equipamento permite o estacionamento gratuito de até oito bicicletas.

Os paraciclos fazem parte do projeto Zona Verde, que institui a implantação de locais para o estacionamento de bicicletas dentro da Zona Azul. Ou seja, um carro equivaleriam a oito bicicletas nas ruas.

Autor do projeto, o vereador Edmilson Pereira (PSB) quer agora definir com o Instituto de Planejamento Urbano de Florianópolis a quantidade de vagas da Zona Azul que serão substituídas pela Zona Verde. A expectativa é que novos locais sejam contemplados em breve.
