Na última segunda-feira, dia 15 de novembro, feriado da Proclamação da República, a cidade do Rio de Janeiro recebeu a segunda etapa do Circuito Vênus. Cerca de 4 mil atletas correram a prova de 5 km e 10 km exclusiva para o público feminino.
Raimunda Maria Brito da Fonseca, com o tempo de 39min45s, foi a vencedora do trajeto maior, seguida por Ana Cristina da Silva Pimenta, com 40min45s e por Valdenize Rodrigues, com 41min15s. No trajeto de 5 km, Gisele Lisboa Oliveira Ribeiro foi a campeã, com 18min32s. Francilene Araújo Pessoa (18min39s) e Rejane Ester Bispo da Silva (18min43s) completaram o pódio.
